Althea Petal Velvet Sunaway Review:

I was excited to try this because of its good reviews but I was taken aback when I first opened it. The product came out in its weird watery texture because I have not shaken the bottle well. Obviously, this is not for those gals who are always on the go.

Upon application, the sunscreen feels like nothing at all which I think is a good thing for when you are in a humid weather. It’s not sticky unlike your usual sunscreens. The product also goes well under makeup.

Another good thing is its packaging. The cap screws on tightly which is perfect for travel. It’s sturdy and you would not be scared of leaking products.

After two weeks of consistently using this, I decided to stop because small bumps started showing on my face and on my neck. It was disappointing but I guess this is because i’m sensitive to rose or anything that has petals in it. The essential oils in the ingredients might also been the culprit so if you have a sensitive skin, you might want to veer away from this or at least do a patch test before fully using it on your face.

My verdict:

It is affordable but since my skin reacted, I would have to pass for this one.

I’m always scouting for new sunscreens, leave me your recommendations down below.
