Crayons BB Cream | Review + Swatch

Finally doing a review on the infamous Crayons BB Cream!

The Crayons BB Cream is one of the recent releases of HBC which received a great amount of hype from the beauty community. It’s always out of stock nationwide! I’m glad I copped the two shades.

The Crayons BB Cream claims that it is a beauty balm with sun protection, conceals imperfection, smoothens and evens skin tone that gives you a fresh, bright and radiant skin.

This product contains 25ml of product and expires in March 2020. The product has two shades only: Fair and Natural. It retails for Php89 each.

As for the formula, the product has a thick consistency and full coverage. You need to blend this thoroughly and use a decent amount only as this tends caking. I tried wearing this under the humid Philippines weather and I honestly did not like how it turned out. It caked on me and by the middle of the day, flaking started to appear.

I know this has been well-loved by a lot of people for its performance and its affordable price but for me, I’d rather reach for the Sansan BB Cream which also has great coverage. Another con of this product is the limited shade selection that it offers. I still need to mix two shades to come up with the right shade that’ll suit my skin tone which is time consuming especially if you are like me who’s always on the go. On the positive side, this product does not contain paraben and it has a great oil-control.

Although if you want to try a full coverage BB Cream that but you’re on a budget, this is worth the try because what does not work on me might work on you. Give this BB Cream a shot! 🙂

  1. Ooh! I’ve only started swapping to BB cream from using loose powder last December and I am NEVER going back!! (Took me two decades but ohwell haha!) I love how cute the packaging for this is, but whenever trying out new skincare or beauty products, i always look at the back rather than the front so it’s great to know this one’s paraben-free. A shame that there are only two shades and with my slightly-darker-than-fair complexion, I feel like those shades are either too light for me or too dark. Great review, Jam!

    1. Hi, Kate! BB creams are great! They need minimal work and is packed with skincare ingredients ♥️ The shades in this really a flop 🙁 thanks for reading! I appreciate you.
