Maybelline Fit Me Powder Foundation | Review

Maybelline recently came out with a pressed powder foundation under their Fit Me line. I love this line especially the liquid foundation and of course, the cult favorite, fit me concealer. So when they came out with this product, I know I have to get my hands on it.

Maybelline Fit Me Powder Foundation

The Maybelline powder foundation has 8 shades and comes in a black compact packaging which is similar to their other products under the Fit Me line. The packaging also comes with a mirror and a sponge applicator. The Fit Me Powder foundation claims to be ultra-smooth poreless coverage that blurs pores on the face. It gives you the smoothest-looking skin with the smoothest powder.

I got mine in the shade 128 which is like 2 shades lighter than me. The shades in this powder foundation is lighter compared to their liquid foundations so make sure to get at least a shade darker than your usual pick. The powder feels so buttery and soft.

I tried applying this by a wet sponge but it did not work so I suggest you to apply it with a dry sponge or a with a brush. The product is good but I did not see any wow factor to it. I use this when i’m running late and need to look presentable. I just whipped out bronzer all over my face to tone down the whiteness.

Overall, the Maybelline Fit Me Powder Foundation is good. It is easy to blend, easy to use and good for the girls who are always on the go. The oil control of this product is also good as it stayed on my combination skin for a good 5-6 hours. As for the price point, this retails for PHP349 but Maybelline is always on sale so just keep your eyes peeled and wait for the sale if you want to try this out. I’m rating this with 3.5 stars. (mostly because of the shades. It’s somewhat misleading)

Have you tried this product? Please let me know what you think of it in the comments below. 🙂

  1. I’ve tried so many “long wearing” lipsticks that are total disappointments, but this is pretty astounding in it’s longevity and coverage. MANY times better than the most expensive brands of long-wearing lipstick, including MAC, Urban Decay, NARS, Laura Mercier, etc.. It IS drying though, which is the nature of matte, long lasting lipstick, so I put lipbalm on top of it, and it’s perfect
