I have been dying to try this Wet N’ Wild Cushion Foundation after seeing a lot of people raving about it. So I went ahead and picked this up as seen on my haul post. There’s not much of cushion foundations in the west market so this really is worth a try. I have used a lot of cushions from Korean brands so i’m curious if this will be as good as those.
Details:
- Luminous, Lightweight & Buildable
- Hydrating Formula
- Has SPF 15
- Contains Natural Coconut Derivative
- Vegan & Cruelty Free
- Net Wt. 0.52 oz / 15 g
- Expires after 2 years

Packaging:
It comes in a box which has all the details of the cushion. The actual product comes in a round compact that has a decent mirror and a cushion puff as an applicator. The compact is made up of a hard plastic or an acrylic so it’s lightweight and handy. The design of the compact is a face of a cartoon girl which makes the product look like a toy. Lol! But I do like it. Especially that the color of the girl’s face changes per shade. It’s too cute and cool!
Shades:
It comes in 8 shades which I am not fond of because it’s hard to find your perfect match in this limited range. I got the shade 119A-Buff Beige which is for medium skintone and warm undertone. I like that brands are putting on skintone and undertone details per shade because it is easier for the consumer to choose their shades.
Formula & Application:
Cushion Foundation Freshly Applied
The formula is basically the same with most of the cushions that i’ve tried. It definitely is luminous when applied but what wow-ed me was the coverage! Most cushions only have light coverage. For this one, you can’t really see it right off the bat but when it finally sets, it does cover some of my blemishes. I must say that this has a nice coverage. It is buildable and doesn’t cake. It’s a medium coverage but you can build it up to full if you do not have much to conceal.
This is best applied with the cushion puff with patting motion as it leaves marks/lines if you drag the product.
It also has a smell but is not overpowering. I actually liked how it smells.
Longevity:
Cushion Foundation after 8 hours
It lasts for a good 6-8 hours but for me, since I have a combination to oily skin, it starts to oil up on my T-zone after two hours.
Cons:
The only cons that I can think of is the shade range and that with this kind of foundations, you’ll get through it in so little time. You have to flip the cushion to get more of the liquid which can be messy and unsanitary.
According to a Youtube Video that I have recently watched, this cushion can last up to 479 swatches! You can watch it here.
Verdict for the Wet N’ Wild Cushion Foundation
Overall, this cushion foundation is good for those who are always on-the-go and want something that’s easy to apply. It looks like your skin but better and gives you that healthy glow. Everything that I put on top of this cushion stayed/blended well. I liked that the longer it is on my fave, the prettier it gets.
I give this foundation 4 out of 5 stars! Would definitely recommend you to try the Wet N’ Wild Mega Cushion Foundation!
I’ve seen this on my bestfriend’s vlog recently and she highly recommends it as well! I need to try this one too, we have the same skin type. Love this review Jam! Xx
Mary
Hi Mary! You should definitely check this out. I also love the applicator of this cushion as it does not soak a lot of products. <3
I will look for that one pag napadaan ako sa Watsons hihi
Beh, does it conceal gaping pores?
It does!
Good review! I have a similar skin type-I get oily so fast so it’s really hard to find makeup that will keep me looking shine-free. Glad you mentioned you were shiny after a couple hours. It might be worth trying to keep in my locker at the gym though! 🙂

Wow, this sounds pretty decent for something that’s so cheap and not one of the Korean ones! I’m the same with getting an oily T zone but it still looked nice on you after hours, so I’ll have to check it out!

It’s definitely worth a try!
I’ll give it a try, thanks for the review. 😊
Thanks for stopping by too 🙂
I really would like to try this cushion. It looks like it would be perfect for a at work “touch up” bag.
I agree. This is easy to use and will definitely suit in a touch up bag!
A very interesting review
Thank you!
It is always nice to see beauty products being introduced in the market regularly. The cover is cute! Love that there is SPF in the foundation as well. It’s great that the foundation gives a natural look. Glad you enjoyed the foundation!

New makeups pops out every now and then and it’s becoming so hard to keep up with 🤣 Thanks for reading!
I’m a sucker for packaging. I thought the anime girl was soo cute.
I thought so too! It’s so cute 😍
Cushion foundations are the one type that I’ve never tried! I’m torn on if I should or not!

You should! They are so easy to work with!
Great review! I wanted to try this foundation but unfortunately, I couldn’t find my shade.
The shade range of most drugstore brands are alwasy limited. You can buy two shades and mix it together but that’ll be kind of costly.
I’ve tried so many products from Wet N Wild, and I love almost every single one of them. I’m glad to hear you loved this foundation as well. I have dry skin, and I wonder if it would be better for my skin type. Great review, super thorough! xxx

I really think this would be great for your dry skin. Cushions usually are great for dry skin type. Give this one a try! Thank you for reading! ♥️
I’m definitely going to give this one a try! Thank you xx
